Winter Placemaking: Lessons Learned
In an October 2021 webinar, Amanda O’Rourke with 8 80 Cities shared winter placemaking strategies contained within the newly-released Winter Placemaking Guide. To support winter engagement in the state, AARP Wisconsin and Wisconsin Downtown Action Council collaborated to fund projects through AARP WI’s Small Dollar, Big Impact Grant.
Join us Friday, March 11 at 11am as Jennifer Stephany with Appleton Downtown, Inc and Gabriel Yeager with Milwaukee Downtown share their experience applying winter placemaking principles to projects that address each citizens’ Right to Mobility, Right to Public Space, and Right to Participate.
This will be a panel discussion format with questions taken from the audience.
