The Wisconsin Downtown Action Council is excited to introduce our new Virtual Quarterly Meetups, a valuable opportunity for members to connect, share, and learn from one another. These meetups are designed for anyone involved in downtown development, providing a space for members across Wisconsin to come together virtually. It’s a chance to discuss challenges, share innovative ideas, and explore best practices that drive vibrant and thriving downtowns. Our goal is to foster a supportive, collaborative environment where WDAC members can learn from each other’s experiences and build connections that strengthen our communities statewide.

Whether you’re looking for solutions, fresh perspectives, or just a supportive network of like-minded professionals, our Virtual Quarterly Meetups are here to connect you with others who share your passion for Wisconsin’s downtowns. Join us each quarter as we gather virtually to discuss all things downtown, creating a space for ongoing inspiration and camaraderie!

Join us for our first WDAC Virtual Quarterly Meetup with a festive holiday twist! This Zoom event on December 19th from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. will be a fun opportunity to celebrate the season with your fellow WDAC members, share a few laughs, and enjoy some friendly competition.
From ugly sweaters to holiday games, it’s the perfect way to kick off our new quarterly tradition while embracing a little holiday cheer. Join us for this festive kickoff to the Virtual Quarterly Meetup series, and bring your holiday spirit!

Here’s what’s in store:

• 4:00 p.m. – Welcome and Holiday Greetings – WDAC President Jeff Sachse will get us started with a warm welcome and holiday greetings.
• 4:05 p.m. – 4:05 p.m. – Show Off Your Festive Style! – Each participant will be encouraged to show off their holiday costume or ugly sweater. We’ll vote on the best look through a Zoom poll and share winning photos on social media.
• 4:15 p.m. – Membership Update – Incoming WDAC Vice President Keely Campbell will provide an update on WDAC membership.
• 4:20 p.m. – Holiday Game Time – Melissa will lead an interactive game, like “Emoji Holiday Songs” We’ll spend 15 minutes on this fun activity, with 10 minutes for answers and announcing the winning team. Winners’ will be announced on LinkedIn!
• 4:50 p.m. – Warm Wishes & Wrap Up – Jeff Fortin, WDAC President-Elect, will close the meetup with holiday wishes and a wrap-up for the year.
