Call to Action from Create Wisconsin!
Your advocacy is needed to achieve $500,000 in annual state investment in creative economic and civic development in rural communities throughout Wisconsin.
There are a very limited number of days remaining in the 2023-24 Legislative Session and we are closer than ever to final passage of legislation to establish a NEW Rural Creative Economy Grant program!
To keep moving this effort forward, we need community advocates to make the case with their elected representatives. That’s where you come in. You’re invited to join Create Wisconsin at an Advocacy Call to Action Check-in, taking place over several afternoons in the next few days, to learn more about the rural creative economy development bills and the legislative process, and how you can be an effective advocate.
Each session will start at 1 pm and end by 1:30 pm. There’s no need to register, just join one of the Zoom calls when it’s convenient for you. The schedule of check-in sessions, with Zoom links, is:
Wednesday February 7 | 1 pm
Thursday February 8 | 1 pm
Friday February 9 | 1 pm
Monday February 12 | 1 pm
