In today’s world, having access to high-speed internet is essential for full participation. This includes how we work, learn, live, access healthcare, and participate in democracy. To ensure prosperity in Wisconsin communities, local and regional partners need to plan for broadband access thoughtfully.
This event is free to the public and the first of three webinars that will focus on broadband planning and funding opportunities in Wisconsin. It will specifically cover the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program, which aims to expand high-speed internet access and usage in the state, by providing an overview of state-wide broadband planning efforts and funding opportunities for local county and Tribal broadband planning.
