Vibrant Spaces Grant Program
WEDC’s new Vibrant Spaces Grant pilot program will begin taking applications soon. To help our community partners understand the program requirements and selection criteria, WEDC is offering a free informational webinar on Friday, Sept. 23, at noon.
This new pilot program will provide grants in amounts from $25,000 to $50,000 to help local communities develop and enhance public spaces. Applications must come from municipalities, and only one application per municipality will be considered. (A Vibrant Spaces Grant application does not affect a community’s eligibility for the broader Community Development Investment Grant program, which provides funding for Vibrant Spaces Grants.) In this competitive grant cycle, no more than 30 grants will be awarded. Applicants must agree to provide a 1:1 match of the grant amount.
