Downtowns around the state are looking for patrons to support the places they love! COVID-19 has negatively impacted the stability of small businesses everywhere and many are concerned about staying in business. Downtown Managers are encouraging locals to remember that when they support small businesses, they impact the local economy since 67 cents of every $1 spent in a local business is reinvested into the local community. In other words, supporting a local business secures jobs, boosts the local economy and preserves their community.
Throughout COVID, local businesses have adapted and work hard to provide safe options for online shopping, pick up, delivery and in person visits. Customers are being asked to make everyday Small Business Saturday by Shopping Wisconsin Downtowns and supporting Wisconsin’s small businesses, artisans, craftspeople, and merchants, during this critical time and beyond.
