Regional Account Manager, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation
Neil White currently serves as the Regional Account Manager for Region 7 of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, directing businesses to the right resources. The counties he serves are Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington, Waukesha.
Neil previously served as a Business Development Planner for the City of Green Bay. In this capacity, Neil was responsible for the city’s business recruitment and retention efforts, particularly as it relates to retail and services. Prior to arriving in Green Bay, Neil served as Executive Director of the Lincoln Village-Milwaukee chapter of the Wisconsin Main Street program. Under the governance of responsible and reusable physical design, his program focus was directed towards business planning, development and growth within the most densely populated commercial corridor in Wisconsin. This assistance resulted in net gain of 45 businesses, 275 jobs and more than 70 building renovations within the district.
Neil launched, owned and operated his own business, V Bar Lounge, in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point District for three years before selling in 2009. Responsibilities included managing staff, financials, inventory, marketing and branding of the business.
While attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Neil obtained a Bachelors Degree in Real Estate & Urban Development as well as an Undergraduate Certificate in Urban Planning.
